Questions we get asked.
Do you install rubber base as a separate scope?
Yes. Rubber and vinyl base, stair treads and transitions can be bid on their own or as part of a full multifamily flooring package.
How are stair nosings counted?
One nosing per riser on hard-surface stairs, including the top landing nosing. Carpeted stairs get nosing only when it is specified.
Can rubber base go over wall tile?
We don't install rubber base over wall tile. Where walls are tiled, the bid carries a tile base or a trim instead, and it is written on the proposal.
How do you keep base and treads the same color across a building?
The building or phase is bought on one production run, recorded at receiving, and attic stock is set aside from that same run.
